Our Story

Why we built Club 139.

Our Purpose

The home of horology — the appreciation and love of timepieces.

Club 139 was created to bring together serious watch collectors in a trusted private community. We believe collecting is about far more than ownership — it is about knowledge, craftsmanship, relationships and shared experiences.

Our vision — to become the world’s most trusted global home for serious watch enthusiasts, where horology and community transcend borders, generations and cultures.

Our mission — to connect, educate and empower a global community of watch collectors by delivering trusted knowledge, meaningful relationships and carefully curated experiences.

“Our vision is to leave a legacy of a community that is timeless.”

The Lineage

The lineage of time

Since Antiquity

The eternal measure

Long before the wristwatch, mankind sought to hold time in the hand — the first machine a person could carry, and the oldest emblem of time without beginning or end.

The Age of Craft

Time becomes a machine

The mechanical escapement turned the measure of hours into the highest of crafts — and the timepiece into the one machine a person could wear, inherit and treasure across generations.

The Modern Era

The watch as an asset

The finest timepieces became stores of value — appreciating, vaulted and traded with the seriousness of the rarest assets. Strength, made hereditary.
