What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site can store on your device. Similar technologies include local storage in the browser. Some cookies are essential to deliver a page. Others, which we do not use, recognise you for measurement or advertising.
What this site uses
Club 139 does not set its own cookies on this marketing site. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or a preference cookie.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page visits, loading speed, and a few named actions, such as opening an invitation enquiry. They do not use a cookie, and they do not receive what you type into the enquiry or the member-access form. Because there is no optional cookie, we do not ask you to accept or reject a banner. If we add a cookie for measurement or advertising, we will update this page first and ask for consent where UK law requires it.
Strictly necessary technology, if our host needs it to deliver or protect the site, would be limited to that purpose and would not be used to follow you across other websites.
Logs, which are not cookies
Our host, Vercel, keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, which can include an IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Those logs are not cookies. They are described in the Privacy Policy.
Member access
A username and password you type on the member access page are held in the page while it is open. A sign-in is refused here. They are not written to a cookie, not stored as an account, and not sent to a membership register. Do not use a password you rely on elsewhere.
Your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Useful starting points:

Blocking every cookie will not stop you reading this site, because we do not rely on an optional cookie to show it.

The date at the top of this page changes when the cookie position changes. The pages that would be affected first are a future enquiry form and the member platform.
